The luggage question always comes second, after price, and it often decides which vehicle you need. Here is what genuinely fits, without commercial optimism.
A business-class sedan comfortably takes three hold suitcases and two cabin bags for four passengers. Beyond that the boot is full and you start loading onto the rear seat, which cuts the number of places. That is the real limit, not the brochure one.
The seven-seater van changes the scale: seven or eight suitcases with seven passengers, or four passengers and a considerable volume — garment bags laid flat, film equipment, musical instruments. The rear seats fold, which lets long items travel unbent.
Two cases need to be flagged when booking. Skis, because they do not fit a sedan boot and require the van or a roof bar. And fragile or valuable items, for which we arrange padding and, if needed, additional insurance.
